El objetivo que se marca este trabajo es realizar un estudio que permita proponer un tipo de reac tor epitaxial dirigido a obtener, mediante substratos de silicio de baja calidad, capas epitaxiales de la manera m\u00e1s eficiente posible, con la finalidad \u00faltima del abaratamiento de los costes de las c\u00e9lulas solares. En la actualidad, casi siempre debido a la baja capacidad de los reactores disponibles en el mercado, no es posible reducir el precio de las c\u00e9lulas solares de manera significativa.  el trabajo aborda y analiza los problemas fundamentales que se presentan para poder aumentar el rendimiento de un reactor. Fundamentalmente se centra en los sistemas actuales de mayor capacidad. Hoy en d\u00eda, los reactores que presetan una mayor capacidad son los reactores horizontales de secci\u00f3n cil\u00edndrica y de paredes calientes, que operan a baja presi\u00f3n para evitar la deposici\u00f3n homog\u00e9nea. El inconveniente de estos reactores es que no pueden operar a elevadas temperatura, ni tampoco a presiones parciales elevadas, esto hace que el rendimiento sea muy bajo (velocidad de deposici\u00f3n baja). El aporte principal de este trabajo es analizar los factores que m\u00e1s influyen en el coste de la epitaxia, por un lado, y por otro, el proponer sistemas de paredes calientes a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica y elevada temperatura. el reto fundamental que se presenta es evitar la deposici\u00f3n homog\u00e9nea.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
