En espa\u00f1a se encuentra distribuida en las regiones de andalucia, murcia, levante y canarias. Con base a su posible uso para controlar s.Littoralis se seleccionaron dos insecticidas con distintos modo de acci\u00f3n: spinosad (neurot\u00f3xico) y metoxifenocida (agonista de la hormona de la muda) para evaluar su toxicidad y efectos en los distintos estados de desarrollo del insecto, haciendo especial farmacocin\u00e9tica con adultos tratados t\u00f3picamente con metoxifenocida-c14 para establecer una relaci\u00f3n entre fecundidad, si existe y la cin\u00e9tica del insecticida dentro del huevo de las hembras tratadas y no tratadas.  a excepci\u00f3n del estado de pupa, los dos insecticidas presentaron alta toxicidad sobre las distintas fases de desarrollo del insecto. En general, spinosad mostr\u00f3 mayor velocidad de acci\u00f3n comparado con el metoxifencida, pero el efecto causado por \u00e9ste fue igual o mayor, a medida que transcurre el tiempo, que el de spinosad. La alta selectividad de metoxifenocida lo convierte en una herramienta \u00fatil para ser incluido en programas de menejo integrado de s.Littoralis. Sin embargo; en el caso del spinosad es necesario llevar a cabo ensayos en campo y semicampo para evaluar los efectos que pueda causar sobre la fauna \u00fatil.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
