El m\u00e9todo se basa en conceptos de morfolog\u00eda matem\u00e1tica, una t\u00e9cnica cl\u00e1sica de an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes que ha sio extendida al caso de im\u00e1genes multidimensionales.  la evaluaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo con im\u00e1genes hiperespectrales simulados revela que las operaciones morfol\u00f3gicas extendidas pueden se utilizadas para extraer \u00abendmenbers\u00bb a partir de los objetos presentes en la escena. El ajuste de las propiedades espaciales de las operaciones morfol\u00f3gicas permite adaptar el m\u00e9todo a aplicaciones muy diversas, siendo su funcionamiento muy robusto en presencia de ruido. Por otra parte, los experimentos realizados con im\u00e1genes reales demuestran que el m\u00e9todo proporciona resultados superiores a los obtenidos utilizando algunas t\u00e9cnicas est\u00e1ndar de an\u00e1lisis hiperespctral.  con objeto de facilitar el an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes hiperespectrales de gran dimensionalidad de forma r\u00e1pida y precisa, se proponen dos arquitecturas vlsi,
