Existe amplia informaci\u00f3n sobre c-myc, cuyas funciones est\u00e1n bien estudiadas. Para ejercer su funci\u00f3n, c-myc interacciona con max que a su vez puede interaccionar con cualquiera de los genes de la familia mad que antagonizan la funci\u00f3n de c-myc. El principal objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar si los genes mad tienen diferentes funciones, y profundizar en su regulaci\u00f3n y su expresi\u00f3n.  para ello nos planteamos los siguientes objetivos:  * comparar la funci\u00f3n y la regulaci\u00f3n de los genes de la familia mad en el crecimiento celular, la diferenciaci\u00f3n celular y la apoptosis en distintos tipos celulares de manera comparativa.  * estudiar la expresi\u00f3n de los genes de la familia mad en muestras cl\u00ednicas de leucemias de origen mieloide.  * estudiar la regulaci\u00f3n de los genes de la familia mad en un modelo \u00abin vivo\u00bb de proliferaci\u00f3n celular sincronizada, es decir, hepatocitos de h\u00edgado regenerante.  la conclusi\u00f3n general de este trabajo es que la regulaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de c-myc, max y los genes mad es diferencial en los distintos modelos y que las funciones no son redundantes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
