Las cuales hidrolizan los residuos (- terminales de prote\u00ednas o p\u00e9ptidos. En el grupo de las cps se encuentran enzimas de funci\u00f3n digestiva o pancre\u00e1tica. Como la cpa1 y la cpb, y de funci\u00f3n reguladora. Como la cpu o cafi (thrombin-acti-vatable fibrinolysis inhibitor). El presente trabajo aborda estudios funcionales y estructurales.  por una parte, se ha puesto a punto un sistema de expresi\u00f3n heter\u00f3loga en picmia pastoris y purificaci\u00f3n de la pcpa1 y pcpb humanas. Esto ha permitido la caracterizaci\u00f3n detallada de los procesos de activaci\u00f3n tr\u00edptica de la pcpa1 y la pcpb y, en este \u00faltimo caso, la determinaci\u00f3n de su estructura tridimensional por difracci\u00f3n de rayos x.  la disponibilidad de esta estructura, junto con la de otras pcps previamente estudiadas, ha permitido la obtenci\u00f3n de un modelo estructural de una pcp de elevada relevancia biom\u00e9dica; la tafi.  el an\u00e1lisis de este modelo ha permitido establecer una hip\u00f3tesis para explicar la inestabilidad conformacional intr\u00ednseca que presenta la forma activa de la tafi.
