Sin embargo los puntos espec\u00edficos enlos que la deficiencia de b afecta la organog\u00e9nesis del n\u00f3dulo se desconoce, s\u00f3lo se ha comprobado que la invasi\u00f3n del n\u00f3dulo se encuentra disminuida. adem\u00e1s, en otro tipo de estudios se hab\u00eda demostrado la existencia una relaci\u00f3n entre el b y el calcio (ca) a nivel funcional.  en base a todo ello, se analiz\u00f3 el desarrollo del n\u00f3dulo paso a paso, as\u00ed como su estructura para profundizar en los problemas causados por la deficiencia de b (-b+ca) y por otro lado de suministro a plantas crecidas en condiciones de deficiencia suplementos de ca (-b+2ca), con el fin de analizar los procesos en los que el ca alivia los problemas causados por la deficiencia de b durante el desarrollo del n\u00f3dulo. As\u00ed, se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados.  en plantas -b+ca la fijaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno se encuentra inhibida y la adici\u00f3n de ca recupera parcialmente la afectividad del sistema, aunque sin llegar a los valores de plantas control.  procesos tempranos de la nodulaci\u00f3n, como la comunicaci\u00f3n planta-bacteria y la adherencia de las bacterias a las ra\u00edces, y el proceso de invasi\u00f3n se encuentran perjudicados por la ausencia de b. No obstante en plantas -b+2ca todos estos procesos se recuperan, llegando a superar en el caso de la comunicaci\u00f3n planta-bacteria a superar a los valores obtenidos en plantas control. Esto \u00faltimo podr\u00eda explicar el aumento de nodulaci\u00f3n observado en plantas -b+2ca.  la maduraci\u00f3n del simbiosoma no es correcta en n\u00f3dulos deficientes en b, indpendientemente de la dosis de ca presente en el medio. As\u00ed, psnlec-1, glucoprote\u00edna similar a lectina que aparece en simbiosomas maduros, no aparece en simbiosomas deficientes.
