El espectr\u00f3metro consta de c\u00e1mara de deriva multihilo delante y detr\u00e1s de un campo magn\u00e9tico toroidal inhomog\u00e9neo, para determinar el momento de las part\u00edculas. El alineamiento de estos detectores es fundamental para la determinaci\u00f3n precisa del momento.  despu\u00e9s de simular la influencia que una falta de alineamiento produce en el momento y en la masa invariante de los leptones, se define un m\u00e9todo de alineamiento basado en la determinaci\u00f3n de las posiciones relativas de las c\u00e1maras mediante algoritmos computacionales, analizando trazas rectil\u00edneas con el campo magn\u00e9tico apagado, y la monitorizaci\u00f3n de los desplazamientos de las c\u00e1maras durante las tomas de datos con campo magn\u00e9tico, mediante un sistema \u00f3ptico de alineamiento.  el sistema \u00f3ptico de alineamiento (rasnik) se describe y comprueba, sobre todo en aquellas caracter\u00edsticas que influir\u00e1n en la resoluci\u00f3n en la determinaci\u00f3n de la posici\u00f3n. Se dise\u00f1a y construye un conjunto de soportes mec\u00e1nicos que garanticen las posiciones relativas de los elementos de alineamiento.  despu\u00e9s de la calibraci\u00f3n del sistema experimental, se instala en el espectr\u00f3metro y se analizan los resultados, demostrando una alta resoluci\u00f3n, mejor que la exigida a partir de los requisitos f\u00edsicos, correlacionando los desplazamientos con cambios en la temperatura y con el campo magn\u00e9tico.  se describen a continuaci\u00f3n varios algoritmos para determinar la posici\u00f3n relativa de dos o tres c\u00e1maras,
