Josefa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Este trabajo pretende el hallazgo de nuevos microorganismos hal\u00f3filos productores de exopolisac\u00e1rido (eps), con el fin de encontrar pol\u00edmeros con propiedades qu\u00edmicas y\/o funcionales de inter\u00e9s tecnol\u00f3gico y comprobar si existen nuevos grupos taxon\u00f3micos entre las bacterias que presentan esta propiedad. De esta forma, se ha realizado una selecci\u00f3n de 142 microorganismos hal\u00f3filos productores de eps, a partir de numerosos h\u00e1bitats hipersalinos con par\u00e1metros f\u00edsicos y qu\u00edmicos diferentes.  despu\u00e9s de comprobar que todas las cepas aisladas era bacilos gram negativos quimioheter\u00f3trofos, relacionados con el g\u00e9nero halomonas, se ha realizado un estudio taxon\u00f3mico exhaustivo, analizando aspectos fenot\u00edpicos, genot\u00edpicos, y filogen\u00e9ticos.  entre los microorganismos objeto de estudio destaca la presencia de las especies halomonas maura y halomonas eurihalina, ya que m\u00e1s del 50% de las cepas pertenecen a dichas especies. Tambi\u00e9n se ha comprobado la existencia de cuatro nuevos grupos taxon\u00f3micos.
