Rocio <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Este trabajo se enmarca en la linea de investigacion sobre recuperacion y eliminacion de metales, a partir de residuos solidos y liquidos industriales generados en la produccion de zinc electrolitico. En esta tesis se estudian experimentalmente:  * la recuperacion de mercurio (hg) de residuos solidos (hollines), mediante los siguientes procesos: 1.- Tratamiento de hollines con amoniaco y zinc; 2.- Lixiviacion de hollines y recuperacion del hg de la disolucion por cementacion; 3.- destilacion de hollines. En todos estos procesos se estudian distintas variables de operacion.  * la eliminacion de hg de aguas residuales, mediante el proceso de intercambio ionico.
