Iv\u00e1n agudo se realiza un estudio de los chorros relativistas en n\u00facleos activos de galaxias desde los puntos de vista tanto te\u00f3rico como observacional. A su vez los estudios te\u00f3ricos presentados, todos ellos realizados a trav\u00e9s de simulaciones num\u00e9ricas, se subdividen fundamentalmente en dos trabajos diferentes.  el primero de ellos consite en una simulaci\u00f3n hidrodin\u00e1mica relativista y de emisi\u00f3n sincrotr\u00f3n dependientes del tiempo. A trav\u00e9s de dichas simulaciones se han estudiado tanto la formaci\u00f3n como la evoluci\u00f3n de las inhomogeneidades producidas en los chorros relativistas como consecuencia del paso a trav\u00e9s de los mismos de una perturbaci\u00f3n en forma de onda de choque plano-paralela. el trabajo muestra la gran influencia que tienen el medio externo y las perturbaciones intensas tanto en la morfolog\u00eda como en la evoluci\u00f3n de los chorros relativistas extragal\u00e1cticos, tal y como se observa utilizando la t\u00e9cnica de interferometr\u00eda de muy larga l\u00ednea de base en radio (vlbi).  asimismo, se plantea a trav\u00e9s de las simulaciones un mecanismo no conocido hasta el momento de formaci\u00f3n y evoluci\u00f3n de una rica estructura de inhomogeneidades en los chorros relativistas como consecuencia de uno solo proceso de eyecci\u00f3n desde la zona m\u00e1s interna de los mismos. Adem\u00e1s, este mecanismo ha sido contrastado observacionalmente en la tesis doctoral y en trabajos independientes de otros autores.  el segundo de los trabajos te\u00f3ricos presentados consigue una mejora considerable de los actuales c\u00f3digos num\u00e9ricos para la simulaci\u00f3n de chorros relativistas.
