La fase experimental ha consistido en determinar las curvas caracteristicas de la bomba en los dos modos de trabajo, analizando el efecto de la variacion del diametro del rodete. Para caudales proximos al punto de maximo rendimiento se obtuvieron los campos de velocidades a la entrada y a la salida del rodete en su funcionamiento como turbina, mediante sondas de presion. Asimismo se ha modelizado el flujo en el rodete mediante una formulacion bidimensional. Resolviendo las ecuaciones de euler mediante \u00abtime-marching\u00bb incluyendo un termino de pseudocompresibilidad necesario para resolver flujos incomprensibles. La modelizacion del flujo se adapta a la estructura de flujo obtenida experimentalmente. Esto permite caracterizar bombas funcionando en modo turbina de una manera teorica eliminando los costes del trabajo experimental.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
