En drosophila est\u00e1n codificadas por el gen tm1 y pueden considerarse como la fusi\u00f3n de una secuencia nt hom\u00f3loga a las tropomiosinas de bajo pm y de una parte ct plegada al azar espec\u00edfica de ese tipo muscular, que posee unas propiedades contr\u00e1ctiles caracter\u00edsticas.  en nuestro laboratorio hemos detectado e identificado una serie de fosforilaciones post-traduccionales en la secuencia diferencial de las tnh en moscas adultas plenamente desarrolladas.  el hecho de que \u00e9stas fosforilaciones no est\u00e9n presentes en moscas reci\u00e9n eclosionadas que a\u00fan no pueden volar apoya fuertemente la idea de que est\u00e9n implicadas en el mecanismo de contracci\u00f3n del ifm, denominado activaci\u00f3n por estiramiento.  por otra parte las tnh establecen interacciones con la glutation-s-transferasa 2-gst-2-, pero adem\u00e1s con las tropomiosinas de bajo pm. Hemos propuesto un modelo para explicar tanto la funci\u00f3n como la localizaci\u00f3n de las tnh en el ifm seg\u00fan el cual la zona nt estar\u00eda integrada en el filamento fino formado tanto d\u00edmeros con las tropomiosinas como homod\u00edmeros entre s\u00ed, mientras que las extensiones ct establecer\u00edan interacciones laterales con filamento grueso que incrementar\u00edan la fuerza lateral generada durante el estiramiento.  el gen tm1 hab\u00eda sido \u00fanicamente descrito hasta ahora en drosophila. Hemos identificado por homolog\u00eda de secuencia el gen tm1 en anopheles gambiae. la estructura del gen ebig8408 es similar y en principio codifica para una isoforma con una homolog\u00eda muy alta con la 128 codificada por el gen tm1. Tambi\u00e9n hemos encontrado dos secuencias hom\u00f3logas a los exones diferenciales y, en ambos casos, uno de los orfs codificaria para una secuencia similar a la zona ct de las tnh.  por
