Adem\u00e1s del caso de frentes de onda planos, para el que se introduce una parametrizaci\u00f3n angular del vector de stokes y se obtiene un procedimiento de descomposici\u00f3n de un estado cualquiera como combinaci\u00f3n lineal convexa de dos estados puros, se aborda el caso de frentes de onda arbitrarios para el que se definen los \u00abpar\u00e1metros de stokes generalizados\u00bb as\u00ed como los par\u00e1metros invariantes adimensionales \u00abgrado de polarizaci\u00f3n\u00bb y dos \u00ab\u00edndices de pureza\u00bb que dan cuenta de la estructura de pureza polarim\u00e9trica de haz de luz.  la acci\u00f3n de un medio material se representan mediante la correspondiente matriz de coherencia, a partir de la cual se define el \u00abgrado de pureza\u00bb y los \u00ab\u00edndices de pureza\u00bb, magnitudes invariantes adimensionales que contienen la informaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica de la estructura de pureza polarim\u00e9trica del material. se propone un nuevo principio de funcionamiento de un polar\u00edmetro mediante el uso de seis estados de polarizaci\u00f3n incidentes sim\u00e9tricos en la esfera de poincar\u00e9. Se desarrolla la soluci\u00f3n completa al problema consistente en lograr separar la contribuci\u00f3n de un material cuyas propiedades se desena determinar, de la contribuci\u00f3n de un material de propiedades conocidas que aparecen combinado con el anterior de modo que la matriz de mueller medida refleja conjuntamente ambos comportamientos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
