Mediante este metodo desarrollado se han estudiado tres tipos de procesos en los que el papel de una tercera molecula es crucial: las reacciones de adicion nucleofilo-electrofilo en disolucion, la catalisis bifuncional y la catalisis por acidos de lewis.  se ha llevado a cabo un estudio mindo\/3 del papel que juega la molecula de agua en adicion de h3o+ al acetileno y al etileno. Se ha realizado un estudio ab initio de la catalisis bifuncional de una molecula de halogenuro de hidrogeno en la hidrogenacion del etileno y en las adiciones de hf y hcl al etileno y de la actuacion catalitica de los acidos de lewis en las reacciones entre butadieno y acroleina y de 2-azabutadieno con etileno.  tambien se ha hecho un analisis critico de la influencia de la calidad de las funciones de base a nivel atomico en la fiabilidad de los resultados obtenidos en reactividad quimica, proponiendose un nuevo metodo para juzgar la calidad de una base.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
