Las arterias m\u00e1s comunmente utilizadas para la realizaci\u00f3n del by-pass aorto-coronario son la mamaria interna, gastroepiploica y radial. Los an\u00e1logos de la l-arginina, ng -monometil-l-arginina (l-nmma) y ng, ng dimetil-l-arginina (adma), se sintetizan end\u00f3genamente y pueden actuar como inhibidores de la \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico sintasa, enzima responsable de la s\u00edntesis de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (no). Los niveles plasm\u00e1ticos de estos compuestos aumentan en diversas situaciones patol\u00f3gicas. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la respuesta de estas arterias a est\u00edmulos farmcol\u00f3gicos capaces de revelar una posible disfunci\u00f3n en el sistema endotelio-\u00f3xido n\u00edtrico. Para la realizaci\u00f3n de este trabajo se utilizaron segmentos de arteria mamaria interna, gastroepiploica y radail humanas que se montaron en un ba\u00f1o de \u00f3rganos para su posterior registro de tensi\u00f3n isom\u00e9trica. estudiamos la respuesta de estas arterias a diferentes an\u00e1logos de la l-arginina (l-nmma, adma, aminoguanidina y metilguanidina), y si estos compuestos modificaban la respuesta dependiente e independiente del endotelio. Los resultados indican que: l-nmma y adma inhiben la liberaci\u00f3n basal e inducida de no, por tanto el aumento en su concentraci\u00f3n plasm\u00e1tica deber\u00eda considerarse un factor de riesgo de disfunci\u00f3n endotelial. Los compuestos aminoguanidina y metilguanidina no modificaron la liberaci\u00f3n no en estas arterias.
