{"id":21763,"date":"2018-03-09T09:11:40","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T09:11:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/sin-categoria\/image-segmentation-integrating-colour-texture-and-boundary-information\/"},"modified":"2018-03-09T09:11:40","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T09:11:40","slug":"image-segmentation-integrating-colour-texture-and-boundary-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/girona\/image-segmentation-integrating-colour-texture-and-boundary-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Image segmentation integrating colour, texture and boundary information"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Tesis doctoral de <strong> Xavier Mu\u00f1oz Pujol <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis se centra en la visi\u00f3n por computador y, m\u00e1s concretamente, en la segmentaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes, la cual es una de las etapas b\u00e1sicas en el an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes y consiste en la divisi\u00f3n de la imagen en un conjunto de regiones visualmente distintas y uniformes considerando su intensidad, color o textura.  se propone una estrategia basada en el uso complementario de la informaci\u00f3n de regi\u00f3n y de frontera durante el proceso de segmentaci\u00f3n, integraci\u00f3n que permite paliar algunos de los problemas b\u00e1sicos de la segmentaci\u00f3n tradicional. La informaci\u00f3n de frontera permite inicialmente identificar el n\u00famero de regiones presentes en la imagen y colocar en el interior de cada una de ellas una semilla, con el objetivo de modelar estad\u00edsticamente las caracter\u00edsticas de las regiones y definir de esta forma la informaci\u00f3n de regi\u00f3n. Esta informaci\u00f3n, conjuntamente con la informaci\u00f3n de frontera, es utilizada en la definici\u00f3n de una funci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda que expresa las propiedades requeridas a la segmentaci\u00f3n deseada: uniformidad en el interior de las regiones y contraste con las regiones vecinas en los l\u00edmites. Un conjunto de regiones activas inician entonces su crecimiento, compitiendo por los p\u00edxeles de la imagen, con el objetivo de optimizar la funci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda o, en otras palabras, encontrar la segmentaci\u00f3n que mejor se adecua a los requerimientos expresados en dicha funci\u00f3n. Finalmente, todo este proceso ha sido considerado en una estructura piramidal, lo que nos permite refinar progresivamente el resultado de la segmentaci\u00f3n y mejorar su coste computacional.  la estrategia ha sido extendida al problema de segmentaci\u00f3n de texturas, lo que implica algunas consideraci\u00f3n b\u00e1sicas como el modelaje de las regiones a partir de un conjunto de caracter\u00edsticas de textura y la extracci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n de frontera cuando la textura es presente en la imagen.  finalmente, se ha llevado a cabo la extensi\u00f3n a
