El estudio de la formaci\u00f3n y destrucci\u00f3n de estas sam por v\u00eda electroqu\u00edmica permite obtener informaci\u00f3n de su organizaci\u00f3n en un amplio intervalo de ph. En general, se distinguen tres estados interfaciales de la mol\u00e9cula en la regi\u00f3n de potencial estudiada:  i,- estado quimisorbido compacto.  ii,- transici\u00f3n de fase 2d controlada cin\u00e9ticamente, con contribuci\u00f3n de nucleaci\u00f3n 2d.  iii,- fase diluida de mol\u00e9culas fisiorbidas sobre el electrodo.  se proponen orientaciones diferentes de la mol\u00e9cula de 6mp sobre mercurio y au(111). La interacci\u00f3n de los diferentes n heteroc\u00edclicos con el sustrato, adem\u00e1s de la uni\u00f3n s-metal, se considera responsable de este comportamiento.  la cin\u00e9tica de formaci\u00f3n y disoluci\u00f3n obedece en general a un proceso de nucleaci\u00f3n y crecimiento 2d controlado por difusi\u00f3n superficial. En la zona de estabilidad de la monocapa se observan fen\u00f3menos tales como:  1,- carga y descarga de la doble capa.  2,- transporte y ubicaci\u00f3n de iones sobre o en la sam.  3,- transferencia i\u00f3nica de carga.  este comportamiento se describe mediante un circuito equivalente del tipo rs(cdl[r(cdw)]). En funci\u00f3n de las condiciones experimentales (electrolito y sustrato) aparecen casos l\u00edmite del comportamiento general. Este tipo de sam inhibe la transferencia electr\u00f3nica de determinadas sondas redox como benzoquinona, o2 y la deposici\u00f3n de cu2+.  la sam de 6mp act\u00faa como promotor para la transferencia electr\u00f3nica de prote\u00ednas redox como citocromo c.
