La utilizaci\u00f3n de la bicicleta en nuestro pa\u00eds, comparado con cualquier pa\u00eds europeo es escasa; quiz\u00e1s, consecuencia de ello, no se utiliza la bicicleta dentro del curr\u00edculo escolar, al igual que ocurre en algunos pa\u00edses de la uni\u00f3n europea. El problema a investigar se centra en conocer cu\u00e1les son las necesidades que jusfiticar\u00edan la incorporaci\u00f3n de un programa de formaci\u00f3n en bicicleta en el alumnado de primaria, qu\u00e9 actitudes tiene el profesorado de educaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica sobre esta tem\u00e1tica; qu\u00e9 dificultades existen para poner en pr\u00e1ctica esta actividad; qu\u00e9 piensan los pol\u00edticos, y personas relacionadas con la bicicleta al respecto. Para la recogida de informaci\u00f3n se dise\u00f1aron dos instrumentos, un cuestionario que fue pasado a maestros de educaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica de centros de primaria, y un modelo de entrevistas, estas se realizaron a personas que desempe\u00f1an roles diferentes dentro del campo de la bicicleta. Para el an\u00e1lisis de datos del cuestionario, se realiz\u00f3 un estudio cuantitativo mediante un an\u00e1lisis de frecuencias de cada variables, adem\u00e1s se aplicaron estad\u00edsticos de contrastes, param\u00e9tricos y no param\u00e9tricos, para determinar la significaci\u00f3n de las diferencias encontradas entre los distintos grupos de sujetos al responder los \u00edtems del cuestionario.  adem\u00e1s, como propuesta de intervenci\u00f3n, se plantea una unidad did\u00e1ctica para introducir la bicicleta dentro del curr\u00edculo del alumnado de primaria. en ella se pueden distinguir diversos apartados, desde actividades para trabajar este elemento dentro de las clases de educaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, hasta una evaluaci\u00f3n que sirva al profesor como gu\u00eda de
