A menudo las interacciones que se establecen entre receptor-ligando son de baja de afinidad, que es compensada en la naturaleza por una presentaci\u00f3n multivalente de estos glicoconjugados. Para estudiar y evaluar estas interacciones es necesario desarrollar nuevas herramientas qu\u00edmicas y anal\u00edticas que puedan superar este problema.  en esta tesis se presenta la preparaci\u00f3n de un nuevo sistema modelo multivalente que se ha denominado gliconanopart\u00edculas de oro, constituidas por un nucleo de oro funcionalizado con negolicoconjugados. La metodolog\u00eda desarrollada tambi\u00e9n permite controlar la densidad de carbohidratos en la nanopart\u00edcula. estas gliconanopart\u00edculas han sido estudiadas frente a receptores proteicos como lectinas, toxinas y enzimas. Tambi\u00e9n se ha validado en experimentos in vivo como agentes antiadhesivos de c\u00e9lulas tumorales en melanoma de rat\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
