Adem\u00e1s se ha establecido un cultivo primario de melanocitos normales.  una vez establecidos estos cultivos, se han realizado estudios de proliferaci\u00f3n y se ha realizado un an\u00e1lisis comparativo de la expresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas implicadas en la regulaci\u00f3n del ciclo celular. En concreto se han estudiado la expresi\u00f3n de las prote\u00ednas que regulan y controlan las fases g0, g1 y s del ciclo celular.  las c\u00e9lulas tumorales de melanoma uveal in vitro presentaron un ritmo proliferativo muy lento, y un elevado porcentaje de c\u00e9lulas en la fase g0\/g1 del ciclo celular.  aunque se ha encontrado heterogeneidad de expresi\u00f3n entre tumores, se han visto elevados niveles de la prote\u00edna ciclina d1, y ciclina e, y ninguna variaci\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n en la ciclina a, cdk2, o cdk4 al compararse con los melanocitos normales.  sorprendente, se ha detectado una sobreexpresi\u00f3n de los inhibidores del ciclo (cdkis) p16 y p27 en la mayor\u00eda de los cultivos establecidos de melanoma uvela humano.  adem\u00e1s, se han encontrado alteraciones en la ruta de rb\/e2f, ya que el patr\u00f3n de fosforilaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna antitumoral rb se encontr\u00f3 alterado en dos de los cultivos. Rb en estos cultivos, se encontr\u00f3 predominantemente hipofosforilado y ensayos de co-inmunoprecipitaci\u00f3n demuestran que no es capaz de unirse al factor de transcripci\u00f3n e2f-1. Se ha secuenciado el arnm que codifica para la prote\u00edna rb y e2f en estos cultivos, y no se han encontrado alteraciones que expliquen la falta de funci\u00f3n de rb. Otras prote\u00ednas capaces de unirse a rb parecen que est\u00e1n implicadas en este proceso, como es el caso de la oncoprote\u00edna mdm-2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
