En experimentos de ensayo de actividad jnk in vitro se ha comprobado que tanto la prote\u00edna recombinante gst-p21 waf1 como gst-p27 kip1, inhiben, de manera dosis dependiente, la activaci\u00f3n de la jnk. Tambi\u00e9n se demuestra que la concentraci\u00f3n de dex necesaria para transreprimir y para inhibir a la jnk es la misma y de un orden de magnitud inferior a la necesidad para activar la expresi\u00f3n de sus genes diana. Para estudiar en mayor profundidad el mecanismo molecular por el que un tratamiento corto con gcs inhibe la activaci\u00f3n de la jnk, analizan el efecto de dex en la integridad de los complejos mkk7 y jnk.  de acuerdo con resultados previos, la jnk se encuentra en complejos jutnoa la mkk7 y un tratamiento corto con dex claramente reduce la cantidad de mkk7 unida a jnk. En una aproximaci\u00f3n experimental similar, la disociaci\u00f3n entre jnk y mkk7 inducida por dex se correlaciona con la inhibici\u00f3n de la jnk mediada por sobrexpresi\u00f3n de mkk7. Posteriormente, utilizando un mutante del gr (gr nl1-) que es incapaz de acumularse en el n\u00facleo en respuesta a hormona, demuestran que la inhibici\u00f3n de la jnk por gcs tiene lugar en el comportamiento citoplasm\u00e1tico y sugieren que la disociaci\u00f3n entre mkk7 y jnk inducida por dex es suficiente para la inhibici\u00f3n de la ruta de la jnk, mientras que la acumulaci\u00f3n nuclear de jnk puede ser dispensable para esta determinada acci\u00f3n. Asimismo, demuestran que existe una interacci\u00f3n entre la jnk y gr inducida por hormona. Haciendo uso de otros mutantes como el gr dim y una construcci\u00f3n que contiene 25 amino \u00e1cidos de la regi\u00f3n visagra y todo el dominio de uni\u00f3n a ligando (gr-lbd), y de an\u00e1logos
