Para ello, se han escogido dos estaciones que presentan climatolog\u00edas distintas: una situada en mungia (g057) con clara influencia oce\u00e1nica y la otra situada en arkaute (g001) con un clima m\u00e1s continental.  los patrones meterorol\u00f3gicos se han definido con los datos de las estaciones de superficie y con los datos del radar de aire limpio situado en punta galea. Se ha creado un procedimiento autom\u00e1tico para diagnosticar los patrones. primero se diagnosticaron los datos del a\u00f1o 1996, y a continuaci\u00f3n, se verific\u00f3 el diagn\u00f3tico con los datos del a\u00f1o 2000.  el procedimiento de diagn\u00f3stico tiene principalmente dos aplicaciones: por un lado, es un apoyo en las labores del control de calidad de los datos meterorol\u00f3gicos, sobre todo para detectar los comportamientos incoherentes de los sensores en el caso de las variables que son dif\u00edciles de controlar mediante filtros estad\u00edsticos, como por ejemplo la direcci\u00f3n del viento.  por otro lado, en cuanto a la calidad de aire se refiere, mediante los patrones meterolol\u00f3gicos, se pueden detectar las situaciones atmosf\u00e9ricas que posibilitan el transporte a larga distancia de distintas part\u00edculas, como por ejemplo el sulfato o la arena del sahara. Este puede resultar un hecho importante para llevar a cabo el procedimiento propuesto por el grupo de trabajo de la comisi\u00f3n europea sobre part\u00edculas atmosf\u00e9ricas en
