Las micropart\u00edculas de plga  cargadas con la vacuna sint\u00e9tica spf66 fueron capaces de inducir por v\u00eda oral, en ratones, una respuesta inmunitaria de anticuerpos sist\u00e9micos comparable a la obtenida con el protocolo convencional basado en alum. administradas por v\u00eda nasal en un solo periodo de inmunizaci\u00f3n, las micropart\u00edculas generaron un t\u00edtulo s\u00e9rico de anticuerpos comparable al originado con el adyuvante de freund. El nivel de anticuerpos se mantuvo alto durante un prolongado periodo de tiempo. La administraci\u00f3n nasal fue asimismo capaz de activar linfocitos th1 secretores de ifn-gamma, estimuladores de la inmunidad de tipo celular. La v\u00eda intrad\u00e9mica se mostr\u00f3 potente para producir anticuerpos y \u00f3ptima para activar los linfocitos th1 y la linfoproliferaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica en ratones inmunizados con micropart\u00edculas. Pudo reducirse la dosis hasta diez veces sin perder la eficacia para activar la respuesta de c\u00e9lulas th1. Por \u00faltimo, las formulaciones de plga indujeron, al contrario que el alum., La secreci\u00f3n de isotipo igg2a de anticuerpos por todas las v\u00edas de administraci\u00f3n estudiadas.
