Con el objetivo de reconstruir la evoluci\u00f3n paleoambiental durante el holoceno, se ha efectuado un estudio del registro sedimentario del lago en muy alta resoluci\u00f3n. Los testigos sedimentarios han sido correlacionados mediante dataci\u00f3n radiom\u00e9trica (c-14, pb-210 y cs-137), as\u00ed como mediante los criterios aportados por los siguientes par\u00e1metros descriptivos:  1,- contenido en agua.  2,- loi (p\u00e9rdida por ignici\u00f3n).  3,- toc (carbono org\u00e1nico total) y tn (nitr\u00f3geno total).  4,- granulometr\u00eda.  5,- mineralog\u00eda.  6,- geoqu\u00edmica.  7,- contenido en diatomeas y polen.  8,- l\u00e1mina delgada y sem (microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido).  considerados en conjunto, estos par\u00e1metros indican que la p\u00e9rdida por ignici\u00f3n (loi) representa el contenido en materia org\u00e1nica en el sistema sedimentario, y constituye un buen par\u00e1metro descriptivo para obtener una reconstrucci\u00f3n paleoambiental. La cantidad de materia org\u00e1nica en el sedimento est\u00e1 determinada por el r\u00e9gimen de precipitaciones de la regi\u00f3n, dado que esta materia org\u00e1nica entra en el sistema lacustre por escorrent\u00eda.  el an\u00e1lisis matem\u00e1tico de la se\u00f1al de la materia org\u00e1nica (mediante an\u00e1lisis de fourier, an\u00e1lisis wavelet, y densidad espectral), ha evidenciado la existencia de ciclos en los valores de este par\u00e1metro durante los \u00faltimos 6.000 a\u00f1os. As\u00ed, el registro sedimentario es sensible:  a,- al ciclo clim\u00e1tico de 1.500 a\u00f1os detectados en la regi\u00f3n del atl\u00e1ntico norte (eventos dansgaard\/oeschger).  b,- a la tendencia de enfrentamiento general a escala milenaria (ciclo de bond).  c,- detecta con detalle el intervalo clim\u00e1tico periodo c\u00e1lido medieval &#8211; peque\u00f1a edad del
