Valle <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En el trabajo se estudian por primera vez los diferentes aspectos del ciclo biol\u00f3gico de ischionorox antiqua aurivillius, 1922 profundizando en el conocimiento de cada una de las etapas de su ciclo biol\u00f3gico.  las observaciones de campo se hicieron entre los a\u00f1os 1998-2001, en parcelas ubicadas en dos localidades del centro oeste de la provincia de santiago del estereo (argentina): pampa muyoj y la mar\u00eda.  el estudio del ciclo biol\u00f3gico en laboratorio se hizo a partir de huevos utilizando deita semisint\u00e9tica para la cr\u00eda de larvas.  se determina la especie vegetal hospendante y se realiza un an\u00e1lisis de su distribuci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica, a\u00f1adiendose dos nuevas localidades.  se estudia la etolog\u00eda del insecto y se hacen descripciones morfol\u00f3gicas y medidas del huevo, larva prepupa, pupa y adulto.  se determinan las caracter\u00edsticas del ciclo biol\u00f3gico: duraci\u00f3n, longevidad, \u00e9poca y secuencia temporal de aparici\u00f3n de los diferentes estados.  se define el n\u00famero de estudios larvarios usando diferentes metodolog\u00edas y tambi\u00e9n se definen las etapas de maduraci\u00f3n de pupas y adultos.  se efectua el c\u00e1lculo de supervivencia utilizando m\u00e9todos ecol\u00f3gicos y estad\u00edsticos.
