Principios y \u00e1rea de intervenci\u00f3n.  2,- modelo institucional de orientaci\u00f3n educativa en educaci\u00f3n secundaria.  3,- modelos, roles y funciones de orientaci\u00f3n educativa.  4,- investigaciones sobre roles y funciones de los orientadores de educaci\u00f3n secundaria.  objetivos  a,- explorar el pensamiento, las inquietudes, las descripciones, interpretaciones y significados  de los orientadores sobre el desarrollo de su labor profesional.  b,- describir los roles y funciones que desempe\u00f1an los orientadores desde su punto de vista en tres aspectos: importancia atribuida, tiempo real de dedicaci\u00f3n en su labor y grado de preparaci\u00f3n profesional.  m\u00e9todo  encuesta.  dise\u00f1o  transversal, en dos fases:  primera fase: entrevistas exploratorias  se trata de un abordaje exploratorio de la realidad de los orientadores, de car\u00e1cter abierto, a trav\u00e9s de entrevistas no estructuradas, las muestra ser\u00e1 peque\u00f1a, de informantes-clave, los datos se analizaron de forma cualitativa.  resultados  1,- descripci\u00f3n de categor\u00edas y c\u00f3digos.  2,- sistema de categor\u00edas.  3,- estudio de los roles, funciones y tareas de los orientadores. Roles b\u00e1sicos:  asesor, t\u00e9cnico, agente de cambio y docente. Funciones m\u00e1s importantes: asesorar e intervenir, seguidas por las de organizar, programar, evaluar y mediar. Tareas relacionadas con la tutor\u00eda, la atenci\u00f3n a la diversidad, y la docencia.  segunda fase: encuesta  esta fase pretende acceder a todos los orientadores de la provincia, tiene como objetivo determinar cu\u00e1les son los roles y funciones m\u00e1s importantes, desarrollados y formados, el instrumento es un cuestionario enviado a todos los centros de educaci\u00f3n secundaria, y
