La tesis, enmarcada en la pedagog\u00eda del ocio, destaca la motivaci\u00f3n educativa de la afici\u00f3n al tren en general -tren actual, tren hist\u00f3rico, juguete y miniatura- y del modelismo ferroviario tripulado en particular. de metodolog\u00eda cualitativa, sigue el m\u00e9todo etnogr\u00e1fico, aunque con elementos de la historia de casos y de la investigaci\u00f3n biogr\u00e1fico-narrativa.  analiza la estructura, funcionamiento y actividades del colectivo del tren miniatura tripulado y de algunos centros de primaria y secundaria de su \u00e1rea de influencia, con sus aspectos de desarrollo personal y social, instructivos y formativos, de ense\u00f1anza y aprendizaje, creativos y reproductivos, de relaci\u00f3n y convivencia. Valora su aplicabilidad a la educaci\u00f3n formal, como centro de inter\u00e9s, como integrador de disciplinas cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gicas, sociales y human\u00edsticas, como pr\u00e1ctica para la formaci\u00f3n profesional y ocupacional. En la educaci\u00f3n no formal sirve de actividad para-escolar, complementaria de la ense\u00f1anza reglada. Y en la educaci\u00f3n informal, es \u00fatil como \u00abhobby\u00bb constructivo para todas las edades, de inter\u00e9s especial para colectivos determinados: j\u00f3venes en tiempo libre, jubilados, adultos en paro y algunos tipos de marginaci\u00f3n: fracaso escolar, algunas terapias, discapacitados leves, delincuencia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
