Nuestros resultados permiten confirmar la existencia de cisternas en la region tuberoinfundibular de la rata. Estas cisternas son intracelulares y carecen de membrana basal, lo que a nivel estructural nos permite diferenciarlas de los capilares sanguineos. La progresiva secuencia en la formacion de las cisternas nos permite plantear la hipotesis de que su genesis sea por inhibicion de liquido cefaloraquideo por parte de las celulas que las contienen. En relacion con los elementos gliales de la region tuberoinfundibular, podemos afirmar que las cisternas solo muestran inmunorreactividad a su alrededor para proteina s-100, mientras que para vimentina y gfap la relacion solo es de vecindad. Las cisternas siempre se relacionan con las fibras lhrh inmunorreactivas, hasta el punto de que alli donde exista una cisterna, en su inmediata proximidad hay fibras lhrh inmunoreactivas. En cuanto al resto de fibras (oxitocina, vasopresina y somatostatina), las cisternas solo mantienen con ellas una relacion de vecindad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
