Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha llevado a cabo el estudio de dos genes involucrados en el proceso de maduraci\u00f3n del fruto de fresa.  el primer gen estudiado present\u00f3 homolog\u00eda con secuencias presentes en las bases de datos correspondientes a cinamil alcohol deshidrogenasas (cads) de plantas superiores.  el estudio de su modelo de expresi\u00f3n demostr\u00f3 que el gen facad1 de fresa se expresaba a lo largo de todo el desarrollo y maduraci\u00f3n del fruto, adem\u00e1s de en tejidos vegetativos. Mediante inmunolocalizacion, la prote\u00edna cad de fresa se localiz\u00f3 siempre en c\u00e9lulas sometidas a lignificaci\u00f3n.  adem\u00e1s, la determinaci\u00f3n de la actividad enzim\u00e1tica de la prote\u00edna cad recombinante expresada en pichia pastoris permiti\u00f3 comprobar que \u00e9sta presentaba afinidad por los mismos sustratos descritos para otras cads de angiospermas. estos resultados parecen indicar una estrecha relaci\u00f3n entre la prote\u00edna cad de fresa y el proceso de lignificaci\u00f3n.  el segundo gen estudiado present\u00f3 homolgo\u00eda con secuencias presentes en las bases de datos correspondientes a prote\u00ednas  h\u00edbridas ricas en prolina (hyprps). Este gen present\u00f3 un perfil de expresi\u00f3n similar al descrito para el gen facad1 aunque su expresi\u00f3n fue espec\u00edfica de fruto.  mediante inmunolocalizaci\u00f3n, se detect\u00f3 la presencia de prote\u00edna hyprp en recept\u00e1culo, concretamente en tejido vascular y asociada al tonoplasto de la vacuola de c\u00e9lulas parenquim\u00e1ticas, y en aquenios. La observaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s detallada de las vacuolas por microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica localiz\u00f3 la prote\u00edna hyprp de fresa asociada a ac\u00famulos de taninos.
