Estos muestran la existencia de una gran concentracion de estrellas brillantes en el centro galactico con un radio de 500 pc, que se ha denominado bulbo interno. Su funcion de luminosidad no tiene una forma suave, sino que esta dominada por un pico abrupto en mk=-9.  este cartografiado apoya la hipotesis de que nuestra galaxia es barrada. Este resultado esta basado en la existencia de una densa nube de extincion cercana al plano galactico (asimetrica en 1) y una gran densidad de estrellas en 1=27 y 1=21 que probablemente esta asociada con la formacion de estrellas en el extremo de la barra, donde interacciona con el disco.  se han determinado los parametros estructurales en k del disco fino y grueso, distinguiendose los brazos como componentes separados.  se presenta una nueva tecnica, basada en las cuentas diferenciales de estrellas, para examinar la estructura de la galaxia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
