Para ello se estudian los par\u00e1metros dependientes de los parapetos de afectan a la carga aerodin\u00e1mica (porosidad, altura, longitud de los voladizos). Se ha encontrado que, dependiendo del valor de esos par\u00e1metros, ambos tipos de parapetos, verticales porosos y en voladizos, pueden reducir de forma significativa la carga del viento sobre las mencionadas cubiertas.  mediante la medida experimental, en t\u00fanel aerodin\u00e1mica, del coeficiente de presi\u00f3n en la cubierta de modelos de ensayos se analiza c\u00f3mo los mencionados parapetos al fen\u00f3meno de los torbellinos c\u00f3nicos, responsable de la succi\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta que puede darse en cubiertas de edificios. Adem\u00e1s de la medida directa del coeficiente de presi\u00f3n se ha analizado el fen\u00f3meno de los torbellinos c\u00f3nicos mediante el modelo semi-emp\u00edrico de cook, con el que se descrimina este fen\u00f3meno seg\u00fan su intensidad, posici\u00f3n y \u00e1ngulo de apertura.  por \u00faltimo, se ha puesto a punto un m\u00e9todo relativamente simple para visualizar mediante termografia infrarroja el flujo de aire sobre la cubierta de modelos de edificios. Mediante este m\u00e9todo se han visualizado los torbellinos c\u00f3nicos y, de forma cualitativa, la influencia de los parapetos ensayados en los mismos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
