El trabajo se divide en dos partes fundamentales:  el arte abstracto a trav\u00e9s de los cr\u00edticos.  los cr\u00edticos ante el arte abstracto.  la primera parte analiza c\u00f3mo se muestra el hecho abstracto y su paulatina aceptaci\u00f3n e introducci\u00f3n en la vida art\u00edstica y en la opini\u00f3n p\u00fablica espa\u00f1ola. Se reflejan, a trav\u00e9s de los comentarios de los responsables de las secciones de arte de los principales peri\u00f3dicos y revistas, las actitudes m\u00e1s significativas e influyentes en este fen\u00f3meno:  los artistas y su propia din\u00e1mica, las relaciones establecidas entre ello, con la oficialidad y con elementos privados como las galer\u00edas de arte.  los sectores oficiales que marcaban las pautas a seguir en salas y exposiciones oficiales, as\u00ed como las relaciones art\u00edsticas con el extranjero.  y el hecho abstracto en s\u00ed mismo, dentro de su relaci\u00f3n con el pensamiento y la pol\u00edtica vigentes.  la segunda parte profundiza en la postura de cr\u00edticos y prensa entre el arte abstracto reflejada a trav\u00e9s de sus comentarios y de los principales debates mantenidos sobre el mismo, que se recogen en este trabajo. Es fundamental el an\u00e1lisis de la profesional de la cr\u00edtica de arte en esta etapa, or\u00edgenes intelectuales, formaci\u00f3n, caracter\u00edsticas, modo de trabajar, postura ante el arte abstracto.  se a\u00f1ade adem\u00e1s, un fichero de cr\u00edticos de arte del momento y breve ficha tambi\u00e9n de los peri\u00f3dicos y revistas analizados para la realizaci\u00f3n de este
