La colaboraci\u00f3n hegra tenia como objetivo la detecci\u00f3n de fotones gamma de muy alta energ\u00eda (e&gt;500 gev) precedente de fuentes astrof\u00edsicas. En esta tesis hemos utilizado el sistema esterosc\u00f3pico de cinco telescopios cerenkov hegra para buscar emisi\u00f3n extendida de rayos gamma del remanente de supernova nombrado \u00abmonoceros loop\u00bb. Los remanentes de supernovas son unas de las fuentes que emiten rayos gamma, juntos a los n\u00facleos gal\u00e1cticos activos y a las pulsares.
