Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Objetivos  estudiar la replicaci\u00f3n del virus de la hepatitis c (vhc) en los trasplantados renales (tr) con anticuerpos anti-vhc+ y de los virus herpes humanos tipo 6 y 7 (vhh-6 y vhh-7) durante los tres primeros meses postrasplante, sus caracter\u00edsticas cl\u00ednicas y su relaci\u00f3n con el cmv. Analizar la influencia de la profilaxis con ganciclovir (gcv) en los cuatro virus. Comparar las t\u00e9cnicas de antigenemia (ag) y pcr doble de cmv en un protocolo de seguimiento cl\u00ednico-virol\u00f3gico.  pacientes y m\u00e9todos  estudio primero  entre los a\u00f1os 1992 y 2001 se estudiaron 329 muestras de suero de 53 tr anti-vhc+ con diferentes protocolos de profilaxis con gcv, para detectar viremia por vhc, mediante una doble pcr. Las muestras positivas se cuantificaron por \u00abbranched-dna\u00bb o monitor hcv. Se determin\u00f3 el genotipo viral con innolipa hcv ii. La viremia por cmv se analiz\u00f3 por ag y doble pcr en 768 muestras de leucocitos de sangre perif\u00e9rica (lsp). En este estudio se incluy\u00f3 un grupo control de 117 tr anti-vhc.  estudio segundo  entre 1996 y 2001 se analizaron 2178 lsp de 134 tr, con diferentes protocolos de profilaxis, para estudiar la replicaci\u00f3n de vhh-6 y vhh-7 mediante doble pcr y del cmv por ag y doble pcr. Se incluyeron como controles 125 pacientes en hemodi\u00e1lisis y 50 donantes sanos.  resultados  el vhc se replic\u00f3 en el 85% de los tr, independientemente del tratamiento inmunosupresor. La carga viral del vhc se mantuvo siempre baja en 21 pacientes, siempre alta en 13, y se fue elevando con el tiempo en 11. Cuando la detecci\u00f3n del vhc fue muy temprana, la carga viral alcanz\u00f3 niveles altos al final del seguimiento de forma significativa (p=0,0028). Los pacientes no desarrollaron hepatitis cl\u00ednica asociada al vhc. No se encontr\u00f3 una asociaci\u00f3n entre vhc y cmv. Por otra parte, el cmv se detect\u00f3 en la misma proporci\u00f3n con profiloxis con gcv que sin profilaxis (52% vs 50%).
