El aparato consiste en una matriz de fuentes puntuales de fotoelectrones posicionadas con precisi\u00f3n dentro del volumen del detector. Estas fuentes son extremos de fibras \u00f3pticas de quarzo en los que hemos depositado una fina capa de aluminio. Las fibras guian luz l\u00e1ser ultravioleta que, al incidir sobre el aluminio arranca fotoelectrones.  los extremos aluminizados de las fibras est\u00e1n afirmados sobre la membrana de alto voltaje de la tpc.  Los fotoelectrones emitidos derivan dentro del detector exb y la medida de la velocidad de deriva, retroalimentaci\u00f3n de iones y estabilidad del detector.  hemos caracterizado las se\u00f1ales anal\u00f3gicas generadas por la electr\u00f3nica de front-end. Hemos estudiado y comparado diferentes m\u00e9todos de extracci\u00f3n de la amplitud de los pulsos y del tiempo de su ocurrencia una vez digitalizados. con estimadores r\u00e1pidos de estas cantidades, como la suma de todas las medidasa discretas de la amplitud en un mismo impulso, hemos obtenido una resoluci\u00f3n de reconstrucci\u00f3n comparable a la obtenidaal ajustar las medidas discretas de amplitud a la forma de los impulsos esperada.  las resoluciones relativas obtenidas (cerca del 5%) est\u00e1n limitadas por efecto de \u00abaliasing\u00bb. Estas pueden ser mejoradas en un orden de magnitud aplicando una correcci\u00f3n a los valores de los estimadores que se construye a partir del conocimiento de la respuesta del preamplificador y del proceso de digitalizaci\u00f3n.  hemos observado uno no deseado efecto de \u00abcross-talk\u00bb en la electr\u00f3nica de \u00abfrond-end\u00bb de la tpc. Hemos identificado su origen en el acoplamiento capacitivo entre la entrada y la salida de los preamplificadores. Las se\u00f1ales anal\u00f3gicas de \u00abcross-talk\u00bb tienen un \u00e1rea, en promedio, del 5% la de la se\u00f1al que las induce.
