Los estudios efectuados han consistido en:  desarrollo de un catalizador con un balance \u00f3ptimo de funciones, altamente selectivo, capaz de eliminar los compuestos mencionados sin producir la isomerizaci\u00f3n de las cadenas lineales de parafina y sin producir el craqueo de las mismas. Para ello se ha estudiado la influencia de la porosidad del soporte y de su tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula, el tipo de metales m\u00e1s adecuados, el contenido de los mismos, etc.  desarrollo de tecnolog\u00eda para la fabricaci\u00f3n a escala de laboratorio e industrial de tales catalizadores estudi\u00e1ndose: su impregnaci\u00f3n, secado, sulfuraci\u00f3n, regeneraci\u00f3n, etc.  dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n de una planta piloto adaptada a la naturaleza de las alimentaciones a tratar y desarrollo de m\u00e9todos anal\u00edticos que permitan cuantificar el progreso alcanzado durante el refino.  relaci\u00f3n entre de las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n: temperatura, presi\u00f3n, velocidad espacial y relaci\u00f3n h2\/carga y la calidad del producto obtenido.  dise\u00f1o de una planta industrial de 20.000 t\/a\u00f1o, para lo que se ha estudiado adicionalmente: ensayo de vida del catalizador, influencia de la presi\u00f3n parcial del h2s y de la velocidad lineal del
