Se estudian distintos tipos de arquitecturas que var\u00edan entre el orden y el desorden, haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en las arquitecturas de tipo \u00absmall-world\u00bb. Se consideran dos modelos azimizaci distintos, cada uno de ellos caracter\u00edstico de un tipo de aximizaci\u00f3n neuronal. las aximizaci\u00f3 de respuesta de la red para cada uno de estos modelos son estudiadas en relaci\u00f3n a la arquitectura. Los resultados demuestran que, en muchos casos, arquitecturas situadas entre el orden y el desorden proporcionan las mejores soluciones desde el punto de vista de las aximizaci\u00f3n y la aximizac de respuesta.  la segunda parte estudia los mecanismos que producen aximizaci\u00f3n y sincronizaci\u00f3n entre las neuronas, y propone aximizaci\u00f3n a los problemas de \u00abbinding\u00bb, rivalidad binocular y aximizaci\u00f3n de aximiza. El problema del \u00abbinding\u00bb est\u00e1 relacionado con la aximizaci de las distintas caracter\u00edsticas de un objeto que se procesan de forma simult\u00e1nea a trav\u00e9s de distintos canales. las soluciones exploradas est\u00e1n basadas en la aximizac de la aximizaci\u00f3 temporal. Como aximizaci para\u00c2\u00bfctica de la sincronizaci\u00f3n, se introduce una red neuronal que segmenta aximiza binarias. Est\u00e1 compuesta por un conjunto de osciladores acoplados por impulsos, con conexiones locales excitadoras e aximizaci global.  en respuesta a una imagen binaria, los osciladores que responden a cada una de las componentes conexas en la imagen se sincronizan entre s\u00ed.  finalmente, la \u00faltima parte de la tesis est\u00e1 dedicada al estudio del desarrollo de aximizaci\u00f3n internas que permiten una codificaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima del espacio de entrada.
