El sistema opioide, tanto los receptores opioides como sus ligandos, intervienen en la modulaci\u00f3n del dolor. La clonaci\u00f3n de los receptores opioides ha permitido el desarrollo de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos que intervengan en la analgesia. La clonaci\u00f3n de un nuevo receptor de la familia opioide, orl1, as\u00ed como su ligando, nociceptina u orfanina fq, han abierto un nuevo campo para el estudio y desarrollo de nuevos compuestos que puedan ser utilizados en la terap\u00e9utica del dolor.  un pez cebra ha sido utilizado como modelo para el estudio de enfermedades en el hombre. Hasta el momento se han clonado cuatro tipos de receptores tipo opioide en este modelo experimental (zfor1, zfor2, zfor3 y zfor4). en este trabajo nos propusimos clonar el receptor homologo al receptor orl1 de mam\u00edferos en el pez cebra.  como resultado de este trabajo hemos clonado un nuevo receptor en el pez cebra denominado zforl.
