Asimismo, se analizan y plantean distintas metodolog\u00edas de modelado y caracterizaci\u00f3n de estas plantas industriales.  en cuanto al modelado, se han obtenido modelos no lineales basados en el uso de ecuaciones diferenciales que permite la simulaci\u00f3n de dos plantas: una planta industrial de secado de orujo de oliva y una planta experimental de secado de arena. En dichas plantas se manifiesta uno de los principales problemas que surgen en la operaci\u00f3n de secado cuando la humedad del producto de entrada es alta, \u00e9ste es el fen\u00f3meno de adherencia, que se produce entre las part\u00edculas del producto y entre el producto y las paredes. Este fen\u00f3meno hace disminuir de forma importante la eficiencia del secado al producirse una acumulaci\u00f3n progresiva de producto dentro del secadero, disminuyendo el contacto entre el gas y el s\u00f3lido. Adem\u00e1s, se expone la dificultad para modelar dicho efecto mediante ecuaciones diferencias, por lo que modelos obtenidos basados en \u00e9stas no reflejan convenientemente la evoluci\u00f3n de las variables del secadero real en dichas condiciones. En consecuencia, se propone otro tipo de modelado, como es el modelado borroso, cuando los fen\u00f3meos de adherencia son dominantes.  en cuanto al desarrollo de estrategias de control basadas en modelo, en primer lugar se obtienen los modelos lineales multivariables discretos de las dos plantas y se analizan sus caracter\u00edsticas, destacando como la m\u00e1s importante (que afectar\u00e1 al dise\u00f1o de los controladores) la presencia de ceros de transmisi\u00f3n fuera del circulo unitario, es decir, que los sistemas tratados son de fase no m\u00ednima.
