Mar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis doctoral analiza los elementos subversivos existentes en la obra de la novelista inglesa angela carter, y trata, ademas, las lineas fundamentales de las que parte la subversion en la narrativa britanica contemporanea. Carter rechaza diversos mitos sociales y literarios que coartan la libre expresion del individuo y del escritor. Imagenes como las de la mujer pasiva y el hombre poderoso, la loca encerrada en el atico, el cuerpo femenino, la casa y el lenguaje son desconstruidos por la autora, quien se\u00f1ala su origen patriarcal y su calidad de mitos que han colonizado las mentes de los individuos.
