Las he son todas positivas, aumentando cuasilinealmente con el numero de carbonos del hidrocarburo, disminuyendo con el del dihalogenuro y variando en el sentido diiodo dibromo dicloro.  el comportamiento volumetrico es similar, resaltando las importantes contracciones en los sistemas formados por los hidrocarburos mas ligeros y los dihalogenuros mas pesados.  los datos de he se analizaron con los modelos teoricos unifac y disquac los cuales dieron predicciones entre 10% y 25%.  el recalculo de parametros tanto para unifac como para disquac dio lugar a mejores estimaciones de
