La metodolog\u00eda desarrollada regenera las condiciones iniciales para poder continuar con un proceso de policiclacion que permite acceder a sistemas polietericos con la estereoquimica encontrada en las toxinas marinas. Se lleva a cabo la sintesis del biciclo oxepano-oxepanilo y la subestructura correspondiente a los anillos ijk de la ciguatoxina.  se propone una explicacion mecanistica a la estereoselectividad del
