Dolores Ynsa Alcal\u00e1 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La presente tesis doctoral es un claro ejemplo de la utilidad de la f\u00edsica a la hora de tratar un problema m\u00e9dico espec\u00edfico. En concreto, en este trabajo, se aplica el uso de distintas t\u00e9cnicas nucleares al estudio pr\u00e1ctico de los tratamiento preventivos contra la osteoporosis. Esta tesis ha sido desarrollada en dos centros de investigaci\u00f3n: el centro nacinal de aceleradores (cna) de sevilla y el instituto tecnol\u00f3gico e nuclear (itn) en sacav\u00e9m, portugal. La investigaci\u00f3n y trabajo realizados han sido llevado a cabo como fruto de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre miembros del cna, del itn y de la c\u00e1tedra de obstetricia de la universidad de extremadura.  en esta tesis se plantean como objetivos, en primer lugar, determinar los efectos de distintos tratamientos preventivos contra la osteoporosis. Para ello, se estudiar\u00e1, con la ayuda de la microsonda nuclear, los cambios producidos por dichos tratamientos en la composici\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n elemental de huesos femorales de rata. En segundo lugar, se pretende determinar, mediante la t\u00e9cnica pixe, las alteraciones producidas por estos tratamientos en la composici\u00f3n elemental del \u00fatero, y establecer su posible correlaci\u00f3n con el c\u00e1ncer uterino. Previamente, antes de realziar este estudio, se han realizado distintos m\u00e9todos de validaci\u00f3n de las t\u00e9cnicas aplicadas.  la exposici\u00f3n de la tesis sigue el siguiente esquema. En el cap\u00edtulo 1 se hace una introducci\u00f3n general sobre las t\u00e9cnicas iba, prestando una especial atenci\u00f3n a la t\u00e9cnica pixe que es la m\u00e1s usada en este trabajo. se describe brevemente los tres programas utilizados para el an\u00e1lisis de los espectors pixe, y alguno de los fundamentos de la t\u00e9cnica rbs. Finalmente, se hace una breve menci\u00f3n a las t\u00e9cnicas nra y pige.  en el cap\u00edtulo 2 se describen las t\u00e9cnicas aplicadas con microsonda nuclear que proporcionan informaci\u00f3n estructural de la muestra analizada (stim y sei).
