El modelo se subdivide en varios submodelos para representar la inyecci\u00f3n de la vena l\u00edquida, la atomizaci\u00f3n primaria, la atomizaci\u00f3n secundaria y la interacci\u00f3n de la gotas con el aire. El modelo de inyecci\u00f3n genera ligamentos de forma cil\u00edndrica que se sit\u00faan a la salida de la tobera siguiendo una ley de inyecci\u00f3n de velocidad determinada experimentalmente. Como modelo de atomizaci\u00f3n primaria se utiliza uno basado en el crecimiento de inestabilidades sobre la superficie de la vena. El modelo de atomizaci\u00f3n secundaria representa la rotura de la gota bas\u00e1ndose en la analog\u00eda de taylor. Se utilzia tamib\u00e9n un modelo de interacci\u00f3n aerodin\u00e1mica entre el l\u00edquido y el aire, estableciendo una discriminaci\u00f3n en los diferentes coeficientes de frendado de los ligamentos dependiendo de la posici\u00f3n. Para las gotas, se utiliza un coeficiente de frenado que tiene en cuenta la oscilaci\u00f3n de la gota resistencia al avance que se produce.  para validar los resultados num\u00e9ricos se han realizado una serie de medidas experimentales del tama\u00f1o y velocidad de las gotas de un chorro diesel atomizado e intermitente en una instalaci\u00f3n creada a tal efecto. Las medidas se ha realizado con un sistema de anemometr\u00eda de desfase doppler de dos componentes y una c\u00e1mara ccd.  los resultados num\u00e9ricos indican que la penetraci\u00f3n del chorro en los instantes iniciales exhibe una pendiente menor a la que se puede medir posteriormente, debido a la ley de inyecci\u00f3n utilizada.  el modelo num\u00e9rico se revela como una herramienta \u00fatila a la hora de realizar simulaciones de las principales caracter\u00edsticas del chorro, as\u00ed como estudios param\u00e9tricos en diferentes situaciones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
