Esta tesis explora la capacidad de la predicci\u00f3n de valores y la ejecuci\u00f3n especulativa como mecanismo para mitigar los efectos debidos a las dependencias de datos en los procesadores superescalares, y propone nuevas soluciones a algunos de los problemas que a\u00fan plantea, principalmente coste y consumo de energ\u00eda.  en concreto, las mejoras propuestas se enmarcan dentro de los siguientes objetivos: reducci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de las tablas de predicci\u00f3n; reducci\u00f3n del uso de las tablas en los predictores h\u00edbridos; mejora de la gesti\u00f3n del
