La obtenci\u00f3n experimental de cantidades universales a partir de medidas de la capacidad calor\u00edfica por unidad de volumen, cuyos valores presentan un buen acuerdo con los valores aceptados, ha constituido uno de los hitos alcanzados. La determinaci\u00f3n de densidades ha permitido verificar, por primera vez, la consistencia termodin\u00e1mica entre esta magnitud y la capacidad calor\u00edfica en la regi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica, lo que constituye una prueba de la validez del an\u00e1lisis geom\u00e9trico de griffiths y wheeler acerca del comportamiento cr\u00edtico de diversas derivadas segundas del potencial termodin\u00e1mico. las amplitudes cr\u00edticas de estas magnitudes se pueden relacionar a trav\u00e9s de la pendiente de la l\u00ednea cr\u00edtica; en este contexto la ecuaci\u00f3n de prigogine y defay ha permitido una interpretaci\u00f3n microsc\u00f3pica de esta cantidad a trav\u00e9s de las magnitudes de exceso. Se han observado; por primera vez, anomal\u00edas en la composici\u00f3n para propiedades volum\u00e9tricas de exceso. En este sentido, el estudio experimental realizado sobre el sistema carbonato de dimetilo +n-decano ha permitido profundizar en el trabajo de griffiths y wheeler. La magnitud de exceso por excelencia que presenta anomal\u00edas cr\u00edticas es la capacidad calor\u00edfica isob\u00e1rica de exceso; el estudio en el marco del modelo ntrl ha mostrado la capacidad del citado modelo para describir el comportamiento de esta magnitud tanto lejos como cerca del punto cr\u00edtico. Es digno de resaltar que, en versi\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica, el modelo es capaz de reproducir las curvas en w frente a la composici\u00f3n, constituyendo este hecho la primera modelizaci\u00f3n
