Los sistemas multi-agente representan una nueva manera de analizar, dise\u00f1ar e implementar, y por tanto de tratar y gestionar el paradigma de la complejidad.  el prop\u00f3sito de esta tesis es el de proporcionar una nueva manera de gestionar sistemas complejos mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de sociedades de agentes software, que tengan una formalizaci\u00f3n desde un punto de vista heur\u00edstico y estructural, y que puedan ser construidas con un proceso de ingenier\u00eda completo y bien definido.  el objetivo de la tesis es el desarrollo te\u00f3rico de un nuevo modelo de computaci\u00f3n basado en agentes, que incluye un nuevo proceso de abstracci\u00f3n del software caracterizado por componentes din\u00e1micos internos y externos a los agentes (modelo estructural), una heur\u00edstica evolutiva de los componentes del sistema (modelo evolutivo), y un conjunto de t\u00e9cnicas de ingenier\u00eda del software que permiten un dise\u00f1o y un desarrollo consistente
