Como material sensor de gas siempre se ha utilizado un oxido met\u00e1lico semiconductor aprovechando a veces el fen\u00f3meno de conducci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica de superficie y a veces conducci\u00f3n por efecto de bulk.
