El estudio trata del formato, as\u00ed como del campo de la producci\u00f3n y de la recepci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de un estudio comparativo entre los dos pa\u00edses. Se procura conocer las marcas multiculturales de este programa h\u00edbrido que mezcla distintos formatos como programas de concursos, programas de confesionario, programas de auditorio, telenovelas, periodismo y documentales. Adem\u00e1s, es un programa transnacional que presenta caracter\u00edsticas globales y locales. Metodol\u00f3gicamente, se realiza un estudio de caso comparativo de forma cualitativa, utiliz\u00e1ndose distintos instrumentos como la t\u00e9cnica documental, las consultas de base hist\u00f3rica, la presentaci\u00f3n descriptiva del formato, el an\u00e1lisis del discurso de dos diarios y las entrevistas semi-estructuradas. En el campo de la producci\u00f3n son analizados durante 15 d\u00edas los diarios el pa\u00eds (es) y p\u00fablico (pt), para conocer el discurso sobre televisi\u00f3n, gran hermano y los reality shows, a trav\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis de los titulares y de los materiales de opini\u00f3n. tambi\u00e9n son estudiadas cartas de lectores de los dos diarios para ver como este discurso es apropiado por el campo de la recepci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n fueron realizadas entrevistas semi-estructuradas con j\u00f3venes extranjeros que viven en portugal y espa\u00f1a para comprender c\u00f3mo ocurre el proceso de producci\u00f3n de sentido
