Algunos de estos metabolitos poseen un sistema 1,2-bromocloro vin\u00edlico poco com\u00fan, cuyo an\u00e1lisis espectrosc\u00f3pico permiti\u00f3 establecer unas reglas emp\u00edricas de car\u00e1cter general para determinar la regioqu\u00edmica y geometr\u00eda de este tipo de sistemas.  del molusco pulmonado trimusculus peruvianus, se aisl\u00f3 un nuevo esteroide y una serie de diterpenos de tipo labdano que presentan un nuevo modelo de oxidaci\u00f3n. Las estereoqu\u00edmicas absolutas de cuatro de ellos se determinaron por el m\u00e9todo modificado de mosher, lo que permiti\u00f3 establecer que estos compuestos pertenecen a la serie labdano.  de la esponja dendrilla membranosa se caracterizaron las estructuras qu\u00edmicas y estereoqu\u00edmicas absolutas de cuatro nuevos diterpenoides que pertenecen a dos esqueletos distintos, gracilano y aplysulphurano, originados a partir de un precursor com\u00fan, de esqueleto \u00abespongiano\u00bb, por reagrupamiento y degradaci\u00f3n. El an\u00e1lisis conformacional de estas estructuras, en combinaci\u00f3n con su posible formaci\u00f3n biogen\u00e9tica, permite afirmar que los cuatro productos conservan la quiralidad del carbono c-10 de su precursor espongiano. Las caracter\u00edsticas estructurales de uno de ellos, con un grupo \u00e1cido libre, apoyan la hip\u00f3tesis biogen\u00e9tica que involucra un \u00e1cido como producto intermedio en la secuencia espongiano aplysulphurano gracilano.
